BICYCLE CARE
Puncture Repairs and Tyre Replacement
Flat tyre? We replace damaged inner tubes, inspect tyres for puncture causes and fit replacement tyres. Our mobile service saves you the hassle of transporting a bike that can’t be ridden.
For recurring flats, we check for sharp debris, worn tyres, pressure issues and damaged rim tape. Finding the cause helps prevent the same problem returning.
Before you enquire
Send your postcode and tyre size, printed on the sidewall. Let us know if you use a tubeless setup and ask about a same-day visit.

BICYCLE CARE
Brake Repairs and Adjustments
From worn brake pads and rubbing discs to weak braking performance, we diagnose and repair common bicycle brake problems. We work with rim brakes and disc brake systems.
Brake work includes cable adjustment, pad replacement and calliper alignment. For hydraulic brakes, send the make and model so we can advise on the service you need.
Ride safely
Avoid riding with significant braking problems until the bicycle has been inspected. Share a photo of the brakes and describe how the levers feel.

BICYCLE CARE
Gear Repairs and Adjustments
Struggling with slipping gears or poor shifting? We provide gear adjustments, cable replacements and drivetrain repairs to help your bike shift smoothly again.
We check the chain, cassette, cables and derailleur alignment. If a part is worn or damaged, we’ll explain what needs replacing and why.
Useful details
Explain which gears are affected and whether the issue occurs while shifting or pedalling. Photos of the rear derailleur can help.

BICYCLE CARE
General Bicycle Servicing
Keep your bicycle running smoothly with comprehensive servicing covering key components such as brakes, gears, tyres and drivetrain. Ideal for regular commuters, weekend riders and bikes returning from storage.
We inspect key components, check accessible fasteners, adjust brakes and gears, assess drivetrain wear and lubricate moving parts. We’ll recommend the work your bicycle needs and explain any replacement parts.
A service tailored to your bike
Tell us how you use your bicycle and anything that’s changed. We’ll recommend the right service and discuss costs before starting.

BICYCLE CARE
Electric Bicycle Maintenance
We help with a wide range of mechanical e-bike repairs, including brakes, gears, tyres and general servicing. Keep your everyday ride running smoothly without a workshop trip.
For battery, motor or electrical issues, send the make, model and details of the fault. We’ll advise on the next steps and whether specialist support is needed.
Tell us the model
Include the e-bike make, model and any error message. Leave battery repairs to a qualified specialist rather than opening the battery yourself.

BICYCLE CARE
Bicycle Assembly
Bought a new bike online? We help assemble and adjust your bicycle so it’s properly set up for use, including wheels, handlebars and pedals.
We check brakes, gears, tyre pressures and the assembled bike’s setup. Keep the supplied instructions and parts together so everything is ready for your visit.
Before the visit
Share the make, model and delivery condition. Keep the supplied instructions and parts together, and mention any missing or damaged items.

BICYCLE CARE
Wheel and Tyre Services
We replace worn tyres and damaged tubes, investigate recurring punctures and assess wheel problems. The right tyres and a sound wheel setup make everyday riding more comfortable.
If a wheel wobbles, rubs or shows damage, we’ll inspect it and explain the repair. For major damage or a complex rebuild, we’ll advise on the best next step.
Help identify the parts
Send tyre size and photographs of the wheel and damage. Avoid riding if a tyre has a bulge, exposed casing or significant cuts.

BICYCLE CARE
General Maintenance and Small Repairs
Chain replacements, small adjustments and component fitting can make a big difference to your ride. We also investigate clicking, grinding and other changes in performance.
Describe what happens and when you notice it. We’ll inspect the bike, explain the cause and recommend the repair and compatible parts.
Describe the symptoms
Tell us when the problem happens: pedalling, braking, turning or riding over bumps. A clear photo and short description are a useful starting point.

Keeping Your Bike in Good Condition.
A few regular checks help keep your bike in good condition. If a component is damaged or your bicycle feels unsafe, stop riding and arrange a professional inspection.
Recognising worn brake pads
Look for reduced pad material and the manufacturer’s wear indicators. Uneven wear or metal contacting a braking surface needs attention. Disc pad limits vary, so check the relevant guidance.
Getting tyre pressure right
Use the tyre and wheel manufacturer’s recommended limits as a starting point, allowing for rider weight and setup. Too little pressure can cause pinch flats; excessive pressure can exceed component limits.
When a chain needs attention
Rust, stiff links, persistent noise or skipping deserve a check. Clean and lubricate with a bicycle-appropriate product, keeping lubricant away from brakes. A wear gauge can help assess chain elongation.
Knowing when to book a service
Consider a service after long storage, frequent riding or a change in braking or shifting. Loose parts, unusual noises and recurring problems are good reasons to arrange an inspection.
Why gears sometimes skip
Cable adjustment is one possible cause, but a worn chain or cassette, damaged hanger or other faults can also contribute. Repeated skipping under load should be assessed rather than ignored.
Reducing avoidable punctures
Keep tyres at suitable pressure and inspect them for embedded debris, cuts and wear. Repeated flats may point to rim tape or another underlying problem. Never handle sharp debris without care.
Checks before every ride
Check tyre condition and pressure, test both brakes and make sure wheels are secure. Look for loose or damaged parts. If something feels unsafe, don’t ride until it has been checked.
